Do It Yourself! -- The Challenge of Recruitment: A Responsibility and Opportunity for the Profession

By Arnulf M. Pins

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), December 1958

In light of the staff shortage affecting the Jewish communal field, the author discusses the recruitment methods currently being used to attempt to assuage the problem. Among the methods discussed are selective recruitment among college students, developing programs with adolescents, providing opportunities for college students to test the field, scholarships and work-study plans. In Journal of Jewish Communal Service, ed. By Sanford Sherman, v.35, no.2, December 1958, p.160-172.
