This essay deals with the effects of kibbutz education on kibbutz children's emigration from Israel. The others look at this topic from two directions: social mobility and commitment to Israel and Judaism. Their research concludes that emigration is higher among those that have not successfully ascended the educational and social ladder in Israel, motivated mainly by a will for personal financial advancement abroad.
