Remarks by Senator Mark Kirk

By Mark Kirk

American Jewish Committee (AJC), November 28, 2011

US Senator Mark Kirk, in remarks to the American Jewish Committee compares current international stances toward the Iranian regime to the British appeasement of Nazi Germany in 1938. As Iran moves towards the refinement of weapons-grade uranium, America has an obligation to impose "crippling sanctions" on the Central Bank of Iran to stop its ability to bankroll the Iranian nuclear program and act as a de facto state-sponsor of terrorism.
