This report was created in response to the US Department of Education's 1983 report, A Nation at Risk. Addressing values and citizenship education, multicultural and inter-group relations and education and language, particularly English-language acquisition, the AJC's Education Policy Task Force report attempts to analyze and clarify the issues, as well as give guidelines for or examples of successful programs that address these areas.
