Towards a Renewed Zionist Vision

By Daniel J. Elazar

World Zionist Organization (WZO), 1977

In this article the author attempts to build a renewed post messianic Zionist vision, based on three fundamentals that have always been central to the Zionistic dialogue. The first pertains to Israel-Diaspora relations, the second focuses on the role of ideology in Zionism, and lastly, the relationship between the major trends or camps within the Zionist Movement, principally the socialist, liberal and religious camps.
