In the Wake of Peace

By Leonard Fein

Moment Magazine, November 1978

Fein discusses the possibility for peace in the Middle East and what that means for the Jewish community. He argues that peace in the Middle East will cause a change in the Jewish community because it will change the rhetoric regarding Israel and will also change the symbolic place of the Israeli community in the eyes of the American Jewish community. He concludes that what unites the Jewish people is not terror or fear, but justice and peace.
