Simon Marks is a modern orthodox Zionist Jewish primary school, based in Hackney. The ethos of the school is Torah Im Derech Eretz' and it places a great emphasis on teaching Middot (high ethical standards) to pupils. The pupils come from families right across the spectrum of Jewish observance and there is a significant number of Israeli children. The following report identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the school and provides recommendations for improvement.
