Autumnal Reflections

By Leonard Fein

Moment Magazine, December 1980

Fein counters the notion that the Jewish community is becoming more politically conservative. He also argues that the increasing popularity of the Moral Majority threatens the place of the American Jewish community in the United States, as does the rise in antisemitism. He advises the Jewish community not to ignore antisemitism, but not to let it distract them from other, more important issues on the Jewish agenda.
