Refusing To Let Go of Tomorrow

Is Israel's precipitous turn rightward of the recent period reversible? For if it is not, then hope for peace is gone and Israel ought to tremble for the train wreck that is in store. Yet in recent weeks, there have been signs that the left is stirring, including a statement by prestigious thought leaders, a statement that amounts to a declaration of independence from the occupation. Perhaps the idea of a peaceful, two-state solution still has some life left after all.
