On the Verge of Real Change

How far has the Jewish communal sector advanced, particularly regarding gender equity and shared leadership, if women continue to earn less than men and make up less than 12 percent of organizational leadership? The authors argue that positive change, resulting from research, advocacy, education, and courage, is occurring for women and the Jewish community. The authors define what changes were made in work-life policies that allowed women to crack the glass ceiling.
