Review Essay: What's "New" - and what's not - about the New Antisemitism?

By Jerome A. Chanes

Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs (JCPA), Spring 2004

The idea of contemporary Western antisemitism, especially as a modern manifestation of an age-old issue, is difficult to define and understand. In order to address the 'new antisemitism' in today's society, the author reviews seven recent publications on contemporary antisemitism arising in the wake of major antisemitic acts of violence in Europe since 2002.
