Clarifying My Relationship to Recent "No, Mr. Sharon" Ad Placed by Tikkun Magazine Supporters in the New York Times

By Irwin Kula

CLAL: the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, 2002

The author responds to the incorrect inclusion of his name on a list of signatories in the "No, Mr. Sharon" ad that Tikkun Magazine supporters placed in the New York Times. He expresses his disagreement with the inflammatory language used in the ad, while clarifying his support both for AIPAC and for greater dialogue and more room for constructive disagreement on issues relating to Israel within the Jewish community.
