In September 1993, following the signing of an accord by Israeli and P.L.O leaders, the AJC sponsored a survey of American Jewish opinion about the peace initiative. In August 1994, another in-depth survey examined the specifics of the agreement, the broader set of issues shaping the Israel-Arab peace process, and the attachment of American Jews to Israel.
