This document presents the text of three presentations given at the Seminar on Strategies for Strengthening the Jewish Family in Chicago on May 3, 1998. The authors discuss the state of the American family in general, as well as the Jewish family specifically (both religiously affiliated and unaffiliated). The authors further highlight programs which they feel Jewish institutions ought to create in order to meet the changing needs of Jewish families.
