Blinded by the Light Unto the Nations

By Bethamie Horowitz

Forward Association, April 23, 2004

The author analyzes a number of surveys and polls that reflect the intricate relationships between American Jews and Israel. A few of the results showed that there has been an increase in the amount of American Jews with personal connections to Israel, however, Israel is no longer seen as the heart of Jewish identity. The author also analyzes survey results that demonstrate paradoxical viewpoints on Israeli-Palestinian relations.
