Making Connections: The Los Angeles Bureau of Jewish Education's Concierge for Jewish Education Program

In this report, the authors provides material on understanding the Concierge for Jewish Education, a program of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Greater Los Angeles aimed at connecting Jewish families with Jewish educational opportunities. The report includes information on how the program has evolved, key features of its current operation and some of the issues and challenges facing the program. The authors conclude by asserting that the Jewish community can no longer assume that people will become engaged because a service is offered. They further add that the program is a promising effort that has potential.
