Thoughts and Reflections on Jewish Community Center Purpose and the Quality of Jewish Life: A Response

By Joel M. Carp

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), National Conference of Jewish Communal Service, Fall 1973

The author responds to and critiques "The Quality of Jewish Life: The Role of the Jewish Community Center", a paper by Harold Dinerman which appears before this article in this issue. Dinerman's paper is not specific enough, the author opines. He discusses functions which he believes Jewish community centers must undertake in order to achieve their overall purpose of creative Jewish survival.
