Report on an Intervention Designed to Facilitate Change in the Culture of Prayer and Education for Prayer in a non-Orthodox Day School

At the 2009 NRJE (Network for Research in Jewish Education) Conference held at Yeshiva University, the authors present a case study of an intervention with the goal of creating positive change in the teaching of prayer and Jewish studies in non-Orthodox day schools. The intervention helped teachers feel more at ease with conducting services, and aimed to create a safe environment for open theological discussions.
