More than Chemistry: The Romantic Choices of American Jews
This course guide uses film to explore love and romance in the context of Jewish life. The author asserts that the relationship between Jewish identity and romance is complex and choices involving romance are often tied to larger economic, social and psychological goals. Through the use of films that span over 100 years of American Jewish history, the guide helps viewers think about decisions involving romance in a new and enlightened within the framework of Jewish life.
