In this chapter, the author describes the enormous diversity of patterns and arrangements in the structure of Hillel's service over the past five decades. The author discusses changes in the context of budgeting, staff patterns, and areas of service. The author then proposes some adjustments to come to terms with these changes and to help Hillel to serve students more effectively, including a new nomenclature and a series of new administrative procedures.
