Striking a Balance at Home and Work

By Jane Eisner

Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association (RRA), Spring 2000

The author discusses her personal challenge of balancing a career and a family, a problem she argues to be particularly acute for women involved in modern Jewish life. The author argues that reform is needed all over America so that families- rich, poor, and middle class- can devote the time they need to raise their children.
