Who Is Israel?

By David Fox Sandmel

Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association (RRA), Spring 2004

The author discusses the meaning of Israel for Jews as well as Christians. The author examines how changes in Christian theology regarding Jews and Judaism challenge us to find new ways to relate to Christians and Christianity, arguing that we need to consider the theological implications of their claim to be in covenant with the same God.
