This report documents the proceedings of the twenty-first annual meeting of the Jewish Publication Society of America, which took place on May 23, 1909, in the Keneseth Israel Temple in Philadelphia, PA. Among the topics discussed are: organizational growth; distribution of existing publications; membership data; new and forthcoming publications, including Louis Ginzberg's "Legends of the Jews"; a proposed Jewish Bible Society, similar to the Christian organization the American Bible Society; and an address by Solomon Schechter on the need for a Jewish Bible commentary in English. The proceedings of the meeting are outlined, and members nation-wide are listed by name, by state of residence. The Society's charter and by-laws are also included, along with a catalogue of JPS publications available.
