This document briefly lists (by date) US government actions and events relevant to the Jewish community which occurred in 5670. These include the appearance of Jewish communal leaders before Congress to argue against further immigration restrictions, and other happenings related to immigration, including efforts to restrict immigrations to whites, and other efforts to allow Jews and "Asiatics" an exemption to the proposed whites-only rule; and efforts to protect Jews and other Saturday Sabbath observers from legally mandated observances of the Sunday Sabbath.
