This report documents the proceedings of the twenty-ninth annual meeting of the Jewish Publication Society of America, which took place on March 25, 1917, at Dropsie College in Philadelphia, PA. Among the topics discussed are: organizational growth; new publications; a new project to publish a volume on Jews in American wars; the publication of the new Bible translation; plans to establish a Hebrew language press; an address on the Diffusion of the Bible in the US; and an address entitled "The Bible and the Layman". The proceedings of the meeting are outlined, and members nation-wide are listed by name, by state of residence. The Society's charter and by-laws are also included, along with a list of books issued by the JPS.
