The Peace Conference and Rigths of Minorities

American Jewish Committee (AJC), Jewish Publication Society (JPS), 1921

The following is a compilation of several documents emanating from the World War I Peace Conference, which deal with the rights of persons in new or modified States "who differ from the majority of the population in race, language, or religion." Though these excerpts were also printed in Volume 21 of the American Jewish Year Book, this compilation adds material that was unavailable the previous year. The paragraphs quoted here are taken from the official texts of the treaties with Germany, Poland, Austria, the Serb-Croat-Slovene State (Jugo-Slavia), Czecho-Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Roumania.
