Statistics of Jews

This report, prepared and written by Harry Linfield, the Director of the Department of Information and Statistics of the Bureau of Jewish Social Research, contains tables of the Jewish population of the world and its distribution, the Jewish population of the United States, the Jewish population of Canada, statistics of Jewish immigration to the United States, Canada, Argentine, and Palestine, and statistics of Jewish emigration from Poland. This article, according to the author, is a revision of the one that was published in the previous volume of the American Jewish Year Book. As such, the chief features of this list of statistics are as follows: new estimates for the Jewish population of the United States, and of the States separately, detailed Jewish population statistics of Canada based on the results of the Sixth Canadian Census of 1921, complete revision of the sections dealing with Jewish immigration statistics, and the inclusion of tables of Jewish emigration from Poland.
