Women in Fund-Raising

By Mrs. N. Levy

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), National Conference of Jewish Social Welfare, September 1946

The task of educating women to give intelligently and adequately is the principal function of the Women's Divisions that are being formed throughout the country. The Women's Division of the New York Federation of Philanthropies was a pioneer in this field. This sense of participation by women engenders enthusiasm that is eventually translated into the donations necessary to support community institutions. This piece highlights the progress and developments in fundraising efforts involving women.
