Summary of an Address on Community Relations

By Maurice B. Fagan

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), National Conference of Jewish Social Welfare, September 1948

This piece presents the summary of an address on community relations. The address highlights that every community relations program, whether in a large or small community, must take into consideration the basic fact that every national development in time affects every local community and every local development in time affects the national welfare. The piece concludes by asserting that as long as a group recognizes and increasingly accepts its share of the community-wide responsibility for good human relationships, the community will move in the right direction.
