Rainbow Ethics

By Anne Underwood

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), December 2006

Underwood examines how feelings of helplessness and chaos coupled with positions of power may lead to the misuse of power and disintegrated boundaries. Underwood uses a modern midrash of the story of the flood as well as writings of Hillel from the Talmud, to highlight the importance of trustworthy leaders to realize their own limitations and request assistance when needed.
