From Rebecca Russo

By Rebecca Russo

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), February 2006

As the Conservative movement's Jewish Theological Seminary of America searches for a new chancellor, the author writes a letter urging the chancellor to bring intensive text study into mainstream environments such as Ramah camps, USY conventions, day schools and synagogue events. The author asserts that the Conservative movement must cultivate more spaces in which Jewish texts are accessible yet undiluted.
