Moments of Opportunity

By Shira D. Epstein

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), February 2009

The author asserts that the "boy problem" from the early 20th century as a hot educational topic has resurfaced in discussions of American and Jewish education, offering challenges and opportunities. While we cannot address all the pressures teen face, we can create programming that meaningfully integrates issues that are part of their lived realities and help teens connect Jewish content and their daily lives.
