The long-range goal of the Multipurpose Senior Services Project in the family agency (if the data support the concept of cost-effective in-home care), is the provision of such services to all "frail" elderly. Medicare and medicaid would need to be revised, government agencies restructured, and case management programs developed. In Journal of Jewish Communal Service, 59:4.
