A JTS Rabbinical student, Elizabeth Richman, interviews Dov Linzer, Rosh HaYeshiva and Academic Head of Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbinical School about his decision to include training in community organizing within the yeshivaĆ¢??s curriculum. Rabbi Linzer concludes rabbinical leadership should not only address halachic issues and teach Torah but address new cultural, sociological, and practical challenges and to broaden our vision of how we should be living in connection to the larger world.
