At the Divide

By Sidra DeKoven-Ezrahi

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), May 2002

The author reacts to Stephen Cohen's article connecting the 9/11/01 terrorist attack against America and the 9/28/00 outbreak of the "Al Aqsa Intifada" in Jerusalem. She argues that responsibility comes not from our comfort of being God-fearing American Jews in the presence of a demonic enemy but from recognizing our own responsibility as Jews in helping to create the disastrous situation in the Middle East.
