A Need for Leadership

By Brian Lurie

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), May 2002

The author states that Stephen Cohen's call to action for American Jewry, while important, will fall on deaf ears. Although individual Jews can, and do, play a role, American Jewry is not well enough organized to take on this leadership role. Among other factors, he discusses the importance of integration of Israeli Arabs into Jewish Israeli society for Israel's acceptance in the Middle East.
