Bringing Justice and Righteousness to Life

By Sari Revkin

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), May 2003

The author illustrates how strongly Jewish text promotes social justice. In order to realize this value, the author founded Yedid, The Association for Community Empowerment, which advocates for the social rights of low income people in Israel in the areas of housing, health care, employment and food. Yedid seeks to implement this goal through individual assistance, community programming and policy change.
