Has the Clock Struck Midnight?

By Adam Rubin

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), May 2004

The author analyzes possibilities for a binational state in Israel/Palestine. He argues that the settlement movement, backed by Labor and Likud governments, may have succeeded in making a two-state solution impossible to achieve. He concludes that the question is whether both nations can find a way to recognize the legitimate place of the other in the narrow strip of land between the Jordan River and the sea.
