Minister of Arts and Cultures

By Basmat Hazan-Arnoff

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), May 2008

Hazan Arnoff, writing as if she were the Israeli minister of arts and culture, argues that Israel's citizenry is comfortable enough to challenge sacred beliefs of what an Israeli identity is and also strong enough to seek out the landscape of our roots. This trend of merging old and new is emerging within every art form. In light of this, Arnoff details her vision for the artistic and cultural landscape of Israel at it celebrates its 60th year.
