A Year-Round Program for Women's Divisions

By Marian Schuman

Jewish Communal Service Association of North America (JCSA), National Conference of Jewish Social Welfare, March 1949

Since 1933 the Women's Division of the Jewish Federation of Chicago has been conducting a year-round educational program to enlist sympathy and support for the work of the Federation. The programs include an orientation in the philosophy of modern social service practice, the current trends in the services of the Federation, and the relationship between the private and public welfare agencies. On all programs, as well as project work of general community concern, the Presidents Council is consulted and its active participation encouraged.
