We Were as Dreamers: A Jewish Post-Conflict Vision

By Hillel Levine

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), November 2004

Hillel Levine argues that Israel should maintain visions of peace, and that a "Jewish Post-Conflict" vision must include a careful balance of pride and modesty, empathy and universalism. He asserts that both the Palestinians and Isarelis should approach the situation empathetically, and acknowledge that even when the most just actions are pursued with the purest motives by one side, they can have bad consequences for the other.
