A Communal Professional's Responsibility

By Yossi Prager

Jewish Family & Life (JFL Media), November 2004

Prager recounts several midrashim and prayers to illustrate redemption as a core value in Judaism, and states that communal professionals who provide aid to the community also bring redemption. He suggests that the Torah contains profound and enduring values that should guide the content of communal goals and that a partnership with God will support the implementation of redemption in the community.
