By Sidney Schwarz

Zeek, Winter 2010

The author, founder of the PANIM Institute for Jewish Leadership and Values, argues that there is a long way to go to make Jewish service a standard part of the experience for young American Jews. And yet, he states that the growth of the field is evidence that the Jewish tradition of giving of our time and resources back to the society in which we live is alive and well.
