Values as Commandment

By Norman Linzer

CLAL: the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, April 1, 1994

The author argues that Jeffrey Solomon's list of ethical ten commandments (in this issue of Sh'ma) provides a constructive means of unifying the different areas of the Jewish community and communal service. This unity is especially needed in light of the erosion of Jewish identity through assimilation and intermarriage.
