Jerusalem: The Final Status Talks

There appears to be no way to reconcile Israel's position regarding a united Jerusalem as its capital with the Palestinian position demanding Palestinian rule and identity for the Arabs in East Jerusalem. Exploring the notion of redefining the boundaries of Jerusalem is one solution. Yet it is unclear how this would affect the Arab-Israeli tensions in Jerusalem.
