By Ben Sales

Josh Rolnick, The Sh'ma Institute, April 2010

Sales asserts that the democratic character of Judaism is one of its greatest strengths, and that all should have a voice in our tradition and the right to express their opinions. However, opinions need to be constructive, and though we may criticize or argue, excluding or ignoring the other rather than engaging should not be tolerated.
