The work of Jewish communal organizations is to harness choice, autonomy, joy, and passion into a common vision. The Jewish community needs leaders to unite individuals locally, nationally, and internationally in the creation of this vision. The United Jewish Communities (UJC) must aspire to this great responsibility if it expects to truly lead the American Jewish community.
