In 1986 there were as many as 400 different Israel educational programs in operation, including educational tours, university and yeshiva programs, and work on kibbutzim. This study deals with two questions: 1) Is there potential for significantly increasing the number of diaspora Jews taking part in these programs? 2) Can their impact be increased? And if so, how?
