Conserving Tradition and Traditionalists

The decision by the Conservative movement to ordain women emphasizes the idea that the things men do as the best there is to Judaism. Women are made to feel that the thing that will make them equal is doing what men do rather than have any pride in those things that have been traditionally done by women.
